Indigo De Souza is an asheville-based singer song writer and performing artist. She has released two EPs to date. Her first EP, Boys, is an indie pop release with rich vocal harmony and captivating ambient moods (produced by Ryan Lassiter). Her second EP, don’t cry just do, is a 3 song future-soul project. Indigo explores new ideas, including melodic rap flow, jazz inspired chord progressions, and a more electronic overall sound. (don’t cry just do was produced by our very own Ethan Baechtold). Indigo is an artist without boundaries.
In the early summer of 2018 she released a full length indie rock album, I Love My Mom with our friends at Sub-fi!
Her and Ethan have not quit though. Soon after the release of I Love My Mom, they released a single; Nomoah. It falls into the same vein as Don’t cry Just do.
She performs on tour and locally with her indie rock band which features Owen Stone on bass, Jake Lenderman on drums, and Ethan Baechtold on lead guitar.
